Jennifer Wong
Ph.D. Candidate O'Connor Lab Program in Neuroscience
The overall theme in the O'Connor lab is to elucidate how thenervous system wires itself together into a complex network of axonal connections. The lab is focused on studying the guidance cues that regulatet he directionality of axon growth, as well as the signaling mechanism underlying axon guidance. Jennifer's project is focused on finding new ways to encourage damaged axonal connections in the central nervous system to regenerate and reconnect.
